The right solution is found by the mind which is free from worry.

Message for the day
Expression: No matter how hard one worries about a problem, there can be no solution found. When the mind is free from worry, it is able to be calm. Then there will be no struggle but very naturally the right decision is made, which would be for the benefit of the self and that of others too. On the contrary, a mind that is worried would make decisions that are harmful, even after a lot of thinking and rethinking.
Experience: When I keep the mind free from worry in the most difficult situation, I am able to experience inner calm, inspite of the outer disturbance, because there is no disturbance in my natural thinking process. There is a lot of peace within, which enables me to be free from negative feelings for everyone. I also naturally have good wishes for myself and others, so whatever I do would be for everyone's benefit.

Soul Sustenance

Themes/Thoughts For Meditation

During your meditation, keep your thoughts and themes simple . two or three carefully chosen ones are enough. Repeat them gently, giving yourself plenty of time to explore the feelings behind them. Allow your thoughts to develop as you now guide yourself in your meditation. Take up two or three simple themes or phrases as the foundation for your own personal meditation. While listening to a guided meditation commentary on tape or CD, which is available at any Brahma Kumaris center, can be helpful in the early practice of meditation, we encourage you to gradually start creating your own powerful, positive, thoughts. These will ultimately have more meaning for you and you will more easily be able to relate to them. However, on your way to reaching a more confident stage, here are a few thoughts or themes to help you.

. I am a subtle point of consciousness, which resides within this body (situated at the center of the forehead), I bring this body to life every day, but I am not this body, I am the energy which uses this body to see, to speak and to hear.

. I am a soul, a being of light, situated at the center of the forehead, radiating pure light into my body, out towards others and the world. As I turn within and remember who I am, I experience my own capacity to have pure love for all others. It is a benevolent (kind) love that neither wants nor needs anything in return.

(To be continued tomorrow.)

Brahma Kumaris
